HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER?

Just add the desired items to the cart and follow checkout instructions. Registration is not required, but we highly recommend you to create a registered account so you can check your order status and history. If you are brand new to our website, we suggest you to create an account before placing an order, and then log in to place the order.

 

WHICH ARE THE PAYING OPTIONS?

Right now, Miyabi Studio only accepts payments via Paypal. You don’t own a Paypal account? No worries, Paypal checkout allows you to pay with a credit card without setting an account. Once you’ve completed the payment, you can decide whether to save your information in a Paypal account for future purchases.

 

WHICH ARE THE SHIPPING OPTIONS?

For orders up to 200gr (approximately two backpacks, one t-shirt or 2-3 boxes) both regular and certified mail are available. Have in mind that regular mail does not provide tracking number or insurance in case the parcel arrives damaged or is lost in transit. All orders exceeding that weight will be sent through certified mail.

Right now Miyabi Studio does not offer express shipping.

 

CAN I RETURN AN ITEM? HOW DO REFUNDS WORK?

What you received is not what you expected? No problem, you can return it and get another item, or simply get your money back. You’ll have 30 days to contact us regarding your issues and return the goods. Items eligible for return must be in the same condition they were on arrival. Once we’ve received and checked them out, you’ll be issued a refund – or we’ll send another product if that suits you best!

Either way, make sure you’ve read the description on the product page closely before ordering, and remember you are free to ask about any doubt you might have. We try to make our best in order to avoid our customers going through the hassle of a failed transaction.

 

ITEM DESCRIPTION SAYS AVAILABLE ON BACKORDER, WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

This applies to items that are crafted on demand. This might take longer depending on suppliers and the amount of orders we are processing at the time, so in case you’re in a hurry, be sure to contact us before placing an order.

 

AN ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK. WILL IT BE RESTOCKED?

This usually happens when supplies for that item have run out, or in the case of vintage/refurbished goods. Sometimes though, a certain design might be restocked, most probably with some alteration.

If you’re interested in something that’s no longer available, just contact us and we’ll try to find the most similar item for you.

 

CAN I MAKE A CUSTOM ORDER?

Of course! Miyabi products might not be available in the exact size, color or design you were looking for. Fancy one of the items in our store, but would like some changes made? Wanna design a product from scratch? Need to order in bulk for a project or con? Just send us a message with the idea you had in mind and we’ll work together to craft the perfect piece.

It might take several drafts to get to the final product, so have in mind that it could take longer than a regular order.

 

IS THERE ANY DISCOUNT ON BULK ORDERS?

There’s some interesting discounts you may want to consider if you’re placing multiple orders on certain items:

Discounts may change depending on the products and amount ordered, and ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED. Please message us stating what you want to purchase and we’ll inform you about any discount available. If you agree with the budget proposal and want to place an order, tell us so and we’ll create a custom invoice.

 

WHICH ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF ITEM CONDITION FOR PRODUCTS IN THIS STORE?

Our products are divided within the following categories:

New  – When applied to clothing, it describes goods sewn out of newly purchased fabric.

Refurbished – Goods constructed not from new fabric, but from a former piece of clothing.

One of our bags might have been a skirt before, or what once was a blanket is now part of a cape. The fabric for our recycled products is acquired through Emaus Foundation, a network of fair trade stores that sell stock with 100% quality guarantee.

Vintage – Garments, accessories or any other good produced before 70’s-80’s, in most cases previously used and acquired through Japanese retailers.

 

WHAT DOES ANTI-STAIN FABRIC MEAN?

Many of our products are made using a fabric that prevents liquids from soaking immediately, and are also easier to clean.

Return / Exchange Policy

 

30 Day Refund 

Miyabi Studio aspires to earning customer’s trust and satisfaction. If you received the wrong product, a product with any quality problem, or too different from description, you can return the product within 30 days after receiving your order, and shipping will be at our cost. Customers should contact us within 7 days of arrival of items and email us photos to support the claims. We can give you a full refund or change the product at your request after we received the package and confirmed the issue.

We will send a confirmation email after you place an order. Please read it carefully, and email us in 24 hours in case there’s any error such as wrong sizing or address.

Miyabi studio ships all orders to the shipping information address provided by the customer. Customers are responsible for submitting complete address information. If logistic issues or customs policy lead to a failure on receiving your order, we would fully refund you unconditionally. However, if incorrect or incomplete address information has been left by customer, or if the parcel has been rejected or unclaimed on time, there won’t be any refund issued.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from Miyabi Studio, you may return it within 30 days and get an exchange or a refund. Remember to contact us in the within the first 7 days after you received the order. Buyers will be responsible for returning the items in their original conditions within 30 days after arrival, at their own expense and using a shipping method that provides tracking number.

Before you return the items, please make sure that the goods meet the following requirements:

· The item hasn’t been used or washed.

· The item doesn’t show stains, and does neither smell of cigarette smoke, perfume, or other.

· Goods don’t show abuse or misuse, apart from the quality problems reported.

· Accessories, if included, are intact.

Refunds will be issued within a day after we check the returned items, and should be back to your account in 24 hours after processed.

 

Cancellation Policy

If you change your mind about your order, feel free to send us a cancellation request. Cancellations will only be available before the order is processed. Once we start working on your backorder, or stock has been sent (usually within 24-48 hours after the order is placed), there will be no chance for cancellation.

 

Shipping Policy

1. We do ship internationally. Shipping costs are calculated by weight, and will be displayed on your cart.

2. Regular mail is optional for orders under 200gr. Above that weight, only Certified mail will be available, and will provide insurance and tracking number. The tracking number will be emailed once the parcel is in your way.

3. Items on stock are usually shipped in 1-3 working days after payment is received. We do not ship on weekends and holidays. If case of backorders, wait for supplies and production time minded, shipping time may also differ depending on the current workload and item ordered. The customer will be given an estimated shipping date after completing payment.

4. We cooperate with Correos Post Office, and goods are sent from the Basque Country, northern Spain. The following can be used as an estimate for delivery times:

Spain 3-5 working days

Europe 1-2 weeks

Rest of the world 3-4 weeks

During holidays or selling season, the order may take longer than usual to arrive.

5. When Certified Mail is chosen, we normally mark your item as gift, valued lower on Customs Declaration Label. This might not be possible when certified mail is used for certain destinations.

6. Miyabi Studio will not be liable for any import duties, taxes or any other charges that might apply during delivery.
